The New Relic Slack integration sends New Relic alerts to Slack through All Quiet. A New Relic workflow sends each alert to an All Quiet webhook destination. All Quiet creates an incident, notifies the on-call engineer, posts the incident to the Slack channels you chose and escalates if nobody responds. Setup is one webhook destination in New Relic and the All Quiet app in Slack.

In New Relic, open your alert condition, go to the Notification settings tab and click Create workflow.
-
3
Click Webhook, name the channel and click Add a destination. Name the destination, paste the All Quiet URL into Endpoint URL and click Save destination.

Back in All Quiet, open the New Relic integration, check that the test payload arrived and map its fields to incident fields on the Payload tab.

6
Open Outbound Integrations, click + Create, choose Slack, click Add to Slack and approve access. Invite the app with /invite @All Quiet (or @All Quiet EU on allquiet.eu) and select the channels that receive incidents.

Use cases
Alert conditions reach an owner, not just a channel.
Every condition whose workflow uses the All Quiet destination opens an incident with an on-call owner. The Slack channel shows the incident and its status, and the responsible engineer is notified directly.
One destination, several channels.
One All Quiet webhook destination in New Relic is enough. Which Slack channels see which incidents is decided in All Quiet, where each channel can receive only the severities it should see.
Escalation outside office hours.
A Slack message at 3 a.m. reaches nobody. All Quiet notifies the on-call engineer by app, SMS or phone call and escalates to the next person if nobody responds.
