On-Call Calendars: Interactive Overrides, Timeline Views, and Schedule Controls
A large refurbishment of the entire on-call calendar. Switch between live rosters and rotation schedules, create shift overrides directly from calendar cells, and define 24/7 or custom escalation windows.
Published: Monday, 28 September 2026
Team calendars now switch between live rosters and configured rotations, let you create overrides from calendar cells, and support 24/7 or custom escalation windows.
Effective vs. Detailed Schedules
Toggle between the new Effective Schedule (the live on-call roster after active overrides) and Detailed Schedules (the underlying configured rotations). Use the new Timeline View for a more detailed view of the next few days.
Direct Calendar Overrides
Click an empty cell in week, month or timeline view to open the override form prefilled with that time, team, and tier. Click an existing shift to inspect, edit, or cover without extra dialogs.
Faster Override Forms
Set shift durations with presets (+1h, +4h, Until EOD) or type exact 24-hour times (HH:mm). Timezone labels show your local shift duration.
Escalation Schedule Controls
Set shift rules to Always (24/7) or At specific times, with a weekly window preview. Modal forms prompt you before discarding unsaved edits.
